Flovo Technologies ("Flovo", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy, confidentiality, and integrity of personal data entrusted to us by job applicants, contractors, and engineering candidates.
This Candidate Privacy Notice explains how we collect, process, store, and protect your information when you browse our careers portal at careers.flovo.in, submit an application, upload a resume, or participate in technical trials and assessments.
2. Categories of Data We Collect
When you interact with Flovo Careers, we collect only data that is directly relevant to evaluating your skills and suitability for open roles:
- Contact & Identification: Full name, email address, phone number, and location/timezone.
- Professional Experience & Portfolio: Resume/CV (PDF), cover letter, GitHub profile, LinkedIn profile, personal portfolio website, and work history.
- Role-Specific Responses: Answers to role-specific questions and compensation expectations.
- Evaluation Artifacts: Notes, technical trial repositories, code reviews, and interview assessments conducted by Flovo interviewers.
We never collect sensitive personal information (such as political affiliations, genetic data, religious beliefs, or union memberships).
3. How We Process & Protect Your Data
Your data is processed strictly for recruitment, talent assessment, and onboarding preparation. We never sell, rent, or monetize candidate data to any third party or marketing broker.
Encryption in Transit & Rest
Resumes and candidate records are stored in private S3-compatible cloud storage with AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit.
Role-Based Access Controls
Only interviewers and hiring managers directly assigned to your requisition have access to view your portfolio and candidate file.
4. Data Retention & Zero-Destruction Discipline
In accordance with Flovo Orbit's data governance baseline:
Candidate records for unsuccessful applications are securely retained for a period of up to 12 months to consider you for emerging roles that match your capabilities. You may request deletion or export of your record at any time.
For candidates who accept an employment or contractor offer, your candidate file transitions directly into your confidential personnel record in Flovo Peeps (HRMS).
5. Candidate Rights & Regulatory Compliance
Regardless of your citizenship or physical jurisdiction, Flovo provides all candidates with standardized data privacy protections compliant with the India Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act and GDPR:
- Right to Access: You may request a complete export of your candidate file.
- Right to Rectification: You may update outdated contact information or portfolio links.
- Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): You may request complete deletion of your application records.
- Right to Withdraw Consent: You may withdraw from an active hiring cycle at any point.
